St. Mark Youth & Family Center Mission

MISSION

The mission of the St. Mark Youth and Family Center is to provide comprehensive, community-based family-focused services that empower youth to develop their own strengths and skills to become socially and economically self-sufficient.  The Organization is dedicated to serving youth by providing resources that empower children and families that live primarily in the Chatham community.

The Organization was founded in 1997 by St. Mark United Methodist Church to offer an array of value-based, supervised education, recreation, and cultural, and social enrichment experiences for youth and families from the broader Chatham community. These outreach services will be based on individual one-to-one interactions as well as the use of group modalities. The program will support children, parents, and their families in building appropriate child-parent relationships.
